Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) is a regional nominee programme in Nova Scotia. It is Nova Scotia’s first immigration platform, and its design focuses on prospective immigrants with the expertise and experience needed to improve the province’s economy and address demographic challenges.
Professionals from all walks of life may apply for the Nova Scotia Nominee programme, which has many streams. Knowing which stream is best for you and knowing the application parameters that go with it is critical to a successful application.
Some of the requirement for Employer are:
The company has a permanent location in Nova Scotia.
The company must have been in service in Nova Scotia for at least two years under current management.
The employer must have a track record of sound corporate and workplace practises.
All relevant laws and regulations must be followed by the employer.
The employer must give the applicant a full-time, permanent work offer. The work must have the following requirements:
Be a NOC Skill Type 0 with a Level A or B skill;
Be found in the province of Nova Scotia;
Have a remuneration plan in place that complies with regional job requirements and current wage rates;
It must be a position for which there is a scarcity of eligible permanent residents or Canadian citizens to fill it; and, it must be a position for which there is a scarcity of qualified permanent residents or Canadian citizens to fill it.
Not be in violation of any existing bargaining unit agreements, labour agreements/standards, or be involved in any labour disputes;
The employer must show that it made reasonable efforts to hire a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to fill the vacancy.
