What is Super Visa?

This is a temporary resident visa that allows parents and grandparents to visit for up to two years. This can be used as a long-term visa with several entries.

Why Super Visa?

  • It is intended for Canadian citizens' parents or grandparents.

Applicant Eligibility:

This visa must be applied for at a visa office outside of Canada. A Parent and Grandparents Super Visa applicant must fulfil certain requirements.

  • The applicant must be qualified for a frequent visitor visa and not be disqualified for any reason, including criminal or medical
  • Evidence of relationship to a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, such as a parent or grandparent
  • Medical insurance by a Canadian insurance provider with a minimum coverage of $100,000 for health treatment, hospitalisation, and repatriation that is available for at least one year;
  • Before you apply, you must have a medical test.

Applicant family member in Canada Eligibility

  • Demonstrate that they are a citizen or permanent resident of Canada;
  • A letter of invitation should be sent to the applicant.
  • Demonstrate that their compensation is greater than a set minimum.
